Rooted in culture. Guided by instinct. Framed with intention.

Born of Jamaica, based in Miami — I photograph people as they are: on the street, in the crowd, in passing, in their element. Shot on digital and film, made slowly, in long projects, wherever the road goes. The extraordinary inside the ordinary.

About

Miami, Florida

I photograph beneath the surface. A Jamaican artist based in Miami, I am drawn equally to light and darkness, intimacy and isolation, beauty and imperfection — to the moment before people arrange themselves, and the one after they forget the camera.

Deeply empathetic and fiercely individual, I experience life differently, and the work shows it — made on instinct rather than formula.

The camera is how I interpret the world — my heritage, my city, the strangers who let me in for a frame.

What appears on my feed is only snippets. The real work lives in long projects, shot over years and edited slowly, heading toward exhibitions and books. In 2026 my work was selected for The Human Experience at PhotoPlace Gallery.

A life deeply felt, rather than simply observed.

Projects in progress

  • Solitude My self-reflection, in photographs: life, death, and the journey between — often told in diptychs, pairs in conversation, the end forever leaning into the beginning. In preparation for exhibition and a book.
  • Di Dansa Dem The language of movement, the preservation of culture. This is my ode to Jamaica: a showcase of movement set in the places that carry its significance — the Ward Theatre, the clock tower, the waterfront at dawn. The two dancers are not the subject so much as the vessel. The series is bigger than them: what moves through them is the culture itself, still dancing.
  • The Portrait Project A book of faces I cannot forget — strangers and legends alike, every one of them simply a person in front of my lens. Gathered over years, and still growing.
  • The Motion Project Movement is where I feel most at home. I love travel — travel is the highest level of education — the energy of it, the thrill of seeing new places, and the fascination of how to get there: planes, trains, buses, the hubs between them. Documenting the process, and the people you see along the way. Nobody posing, everybody going somewhere — the world caught in transit.
  • Through My Eyes Through My Eyes is my documentorial view of my life. I shoot my mood. I shoot what I like, what is important to me, what I feel. I shoot for my therapy — whatever catches my eye. This is my truth.
